Among the main activities of the association are mainly activities aimed at supporting adult education (workshops, professional seminars and conferences) in Slovakia with the aim of exchanging and spreading professional information and experience. Furthermore, it is the representation of members’ interests in national and international associations. AIVD in Slovakia is currently an active member of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) and the European Basic Skills Network (EBSN). Other activities of the AIVD in the Slovak Republic include support in solving concepts in the field of further education and cooperates with state authorities and other entities in the preparation and implementation of legislative and other measures in this area.
